a good deed goes a long way

Someone did something really kind for me today. I won an auction for a really old ring box on ebay for $10 last night and I sent the seller a message saying I was excited to use it on my wedding day and today I got a Paypal refund message that said:

HI KAITLIN, MY WIFE AND I WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE THIS ITEM AND WISH YOU THE HAPPIEST WEDDING DAY AND WONDERFUL MARRIED LIFE. WE ARE 31 YEARS TOGETHER AND NEVER A DULL MOMENT. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. ED & LINDA

I wanted to cry. What a sweet gesture. Being $10 richer is nothing—the kindness is what counted. Pay it forward, I will. Good people are out there. Thanks for the inspiration Ed and Linda!

On another note—praying for those in Missouri today.
